Scottish Regional Day

The Annual Scottish Regional Day is an opportunity for all the Scottish groups and individual contacts to get together and exchange ideas and experiences about running a group, supporting bereaved families, contact with local health authorities etc.
Though it is not a befriending day there will be befrienders available if anyone needs them.
The day consists of several speakers / presentations in the morning: normally Chair of the local group; Midwives; Pathologists; Ministers, people involved with the care of bereaved families. A break for lunch, then workshops are held in the afternoon to discuss how to move the groups forward and better support individual befrienders. We then reconvene and summarise all points raised in the workshops.
Everyone is of course welcome and the more that attend the better.
It is a wonderful chance to get together, share ideas and stories and meet up with people from other groups.
The cost for this day (not including traveling costs) is being covered by Ayrshire Sands to give everyone a chance to attend.
